Why Hypnosis? BECAUSE DIETS DON'T WORK!
I’d even be willing to bet that you’ve probably tried a few, if not all of them already. Then to confuse matters even more, every magazine on every newsstand and supermarket counter is jammed with headlines that read” lose 10 pounds by Tuesday”, “flatter abs in one week”, “burn fat while you sleep”. So how are you supposed to choose which one is right for you? The truth is that probably none of them are. In fact, if you’re relying on a diet to lose weight and you expect to keep it off you’re in for a big let down. Diets Don’t Work. A few traits they all have in common are, they are highly restrictive, require massive will power for extended periods of time, they leave you with a feeling of deprivation, they can't be maintained forever, they’re unnatural and many of them still rely on an outdated notion that severe caloric restriction is the best if not the only way to lose weight. But food is fuel for your body, It’s energy for the living cells in your body and when you take the fuel away it knows that your not getting the same amount of nutrition that you’re normally used to, so the next thing that happens is your brain kicks in gear to help your body conserve energy and it goes into what we call starvation mode. Starvation Mode. The ability to regulate your metabolic Set Point is one of many functions handled in this area that is sometimes called the control center of the brain. This is a naturally occurring reaction in your body, caused by your brain monitoring your nutritional intake, the more you diet the stronger the response, the more meals you skip the worse it gets and every year you get FATTER and FATTER. The thing to remember here is that your body is working perfectly, it's doing exactly what it should be doing under these circumstances. That's why this would be a good time for you to begin to change your mind about how to lose weight and start taking a look at some things that make sense. Hypnosis is Not a Diet
Your unconscious mind is your faithfull servant and it will always do exactly what it is that you want it to do(Providing that it knows what it is you want it to do). Do you really know "exactly" what it is that you want? If so, are you excited enough about it's potential to become real for you that you that you can hardly wait for tomorrow because each day brings it one day closer to becoming your reality? If you answered NO to either of these questions it could be that you don't believe this could ever really happen for you. Belief is a powerfull asset that none of us can afford to dissmiss. Belief is the tool that empowers your subconscious mind with the freedom to explore what "might be" possible. Believe It Or Not, It's Up To You!! DIETS DONT WORK Because, food is fuel for your body, it’s nutrition, and nutrients are the energy source that drives your physical being through the course of the day.
It doesn’t rationalize that you want to lose weight; it simply responds to foods effect on the body and takes immediate actions to protect that body. (The brains first and highest purpose is to protect the body) Now, in response to the lack of fuel it begins to slow down your metabolism to enable you to conserve energy and you begin to store fat for fuel more efficiently.
Your Brain Thinks You’re Starving!
At this point lets be optimistic and assume that you were totally successful and you reached your ideal weight. Hooray, finally you can eat like a “normal” person again, but now your metabolism is running slower than it was before you went on the diet. What Happened? Your Amazing Brain Your amazing brain has regulated your body’s need for fuel to accommodate your most recent diet. At this point, if you should return to anything that even resembles your former eating routine you start to gain weight like crazy and most people will regain all the weight they lost on the diet in about half the time it took them to lose it and add a few ‘penalty pounds” on top of it.
The truth is that you pay a price whenever you diet and that price is TOO HIGH. It results in more weight gain; faster weight gain and often ending up with your overall health and physical well-being compromised. Not to mention what it does to your self-esteem!!! Diet Quiz

2. What's the next thing do you lose? _______ If your answer to either question was “your freaking mind” it’s wrong! (that’s the third thing you’ll lose) You lose water first, you lose muscle second, and then you might lose some fat. That means that you lose water weight and muscle mass before you lose ANY FAT AT ALL. Now this is where it starts to get interesting, because it takes muscle to burn fat. BUT YOU ALREADY LOST MUSCLE before you even got a chance to burn any fat. You lost weight but your total body fat is higher than it was before you went on the diet, you lost weight but your fatter and storing fat faster and more efficiently, you’re losing more muscle with every diet but you need that muscle to burn the fat and this is happening all over again, compounding with each and every diet (The same process actually happens to a lesser degree every time you skip a meal). Diets don’t work… They cant… According to the laws of nature diets are designed to fail and the only thing that you can count on is eventual weight gain. Besides that it’s not nice to fool Mother Nature. So the faster that you can get your head out of the diet mentality the better.
All you need to do is to read the small print!!! Every diet, every diet aid and every diet advertisement will post a disclaimer in small print, telling you “Results are not typical"… For best results combine (product name) with behavior modification and daily exercise… For the next couple of weeks I want you to read the small print on every weight loss ad that you can get your hands on. I don’t really care if you read the whole ad!!! But I do want you to read the small print. Then ask yourself one question, what do they all have in common? Even though I have no way of knowing what ads your going to read I’ll bet you dollars to donuts that what they all have in common is, Behavior modification and daily exercise are recommended for optimal results. Let me ask you a question If you had the ability to change your own behaviors, and you began to exercise regularly would you even need their product in the first place?
This isn’t rocket science, and i’ll bet that you already know what you need to do to lose weight. The challenge is to get you to do it and do it consistently. Changing behaviors can be easier than you imagine once you have a formula for how to change and a blueprint of what you want to change them to.

One thing that I know about pain is that it’s indisputable, something either hurts, or it doesn’t. This experiment is one of the first projects to be conducted at the Oxford Center for Science of the Mind. (Did you know that there’s a way to change your beliefs at level that is below the level of conscious awareness? Believe it or not, it’s true and you can change it). So for now, it would be useful for you to adopt this belief. You have the ability to succeed and this will be easy. There are only six things that you need to do to lose weight. Therapists almost always say, “All behavior has a positive intention”. But behaviors don’t have a mind of their own so they don’t really have any intentions but they do serve a purpose. Having a well formed outcome can and will alter that purpose. ================================================================ The business of weight loss in America is roughly a 50 BILLION DOLLAR industry and in case you haven’t noticed its HIGHLY FOCUSED ON NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT. How is this fifty billion dollar business useful to you? Once you’re able to separate THE SPIN (or hype) from THE FACTS you’ll be better able to take advantage of the current research. There are a small handful of nutritional products that could forever change the way you lose weight. Do you know what they are? Do you know what’s safe? Shouldn’t you? When you read the labels on nutritional products are you looking for serious nutritional support, or are you just looking for a label that reads “LOSE 3, 4, even 5 pounds a week”. Continuing education doesn’t mean you have to become an expert on nutrition just well enough informed to make the best choices you can. These are choices that will consistently move you closer to your goals. If you said yes defiantly, who do you think you’re kidding? If you lie about it to me, I’ll never know it but if you’re trying to fool yourself into believing it, you’re setting yourself up for another failure. ================================================================ Unless you live alone, in a cave, in some remote region of the globe, there are going to be times when you want to go out and do a little partying. It’s not going to be as much fun if the only foods you can eat at the party are the celery stalks and maybe some broccoli. I’m not making any judgment calls. As a lifelong student of human nature I’ve found out that some behaviors are predictable, and deciding to have just as much fun as everyone is having at a party or family gathering is pretty easy to predict. This isn’t bad behavior, it’s not wrong, and it’s nothing to feel guilty about, it’s simply human nature. It’s not going to be useful behavior for weight loss but it doesn’t have to have a negative effect on your weight loss goals. I’m giving everyone who tries this program a “weekend pass” to go out and play. Well, not every weekend but it’ll be there when you need it. If you’re smart enough to be prepared for those “weekend emergencies” the parties, picnics, barbeques, etc, etc… You know how that rack of ribs has a tendency to sneak up on your waistline, or the Sunday pasta dinner, complete with home made bread and moms apple pie have raised a little hell with you previous weight loss attempts? Well this time you’re about to get lucky!!! In my dictionary “luck” is the crossroads where preparedness and opportunity meet. So if you’re smart enough to be prepared, you deserve to get lucky.
